It would be impossible to forget the bride and groom's names at this wedding... Sarah & Peter! - although it was a little strange listening to the ceremony with our own names in! We'd previously shot Sarah's sisters wedding, so there was plenty of familiar faces and a great chilled out atmosphere.

With groom hailing from Yorkshire and bride from Lancashire, this was a cross border affair with a hint of the war of the roses! with the church in Lancashire and the reception in 'historic' Yorkshire.

When Helen and Philip first met us, Philip was full of ideas to encompass his gymnastic abilities into their wedding photos... alas 18 months later and a shoulder injury put Philip out of normal action :( but he did manage to express a little of his gymnastic prowess, with moves many of us would definitely struggle with!

Charlene and Ashley tied the knot at Our Lady The Apostle in Stockport, a rather magnificent red brick church with handy 'local' nearby for the pre-wedding drinks to calm those nerves!

Lancashire Wedding - A traditional church ceremony in Bolton and reception at Stanley House, Blackburn
We always love new venues and were definitely looking forward to our day with Emma and Phil at Stanley House, Blackburn - a great mix of modern and old architecture surrounded by fantastic countryside too, what more could we ask for!

We visited Schypwll, on the borders of Powys and Shropshire back in the Spring and were somewhat awestruck with it's rustic-ness, with a capital 'R' and had been looking forward to Clare and Ian's big day... it finally arrived!

Hayley and David live in Hertfordshire...so they chose to get married at Hoscote House in Scotland! Well I suppose only just Scotland, but a fair old drive from the South of England....not a bad drive for the Pixies though and we were really pleased to be able to go back after having shot a wedding there a few years ago. We arrived in plenty of time, as the ceremony wasn't until 5pm! The only slot that their very popular human celebrant could fit in!
